JOHN GLASS was born in Paris, France of American parents, and was raised in Geneva, Switzerland for the first 15 years of his life. His father was a businessman and his mother a journalist at the United Nations as well as a local radio talk show host. In 1976 John back-packed alone for 6 months from Switzerland to India where he was introduced the Gospel of Jesus-Christ by a man he met on the street in New Delhi.  He returned to the US, and after finishing university, John became a flight attendant with Pan Am where he met his wife Meg, who was also a flight attendant.

After Pan Am, he attended seminary in California and was ordained in 1985. John and Meg then left for Paris, France where John pastored a church for the next 10 years. In 1997, John and Meg moved to Geneva, Switzerland where John has been pastoring ever since. In 2019 John received his Doctor of Ministry from The Master’s Seminary, and wrote his thesis titled A Walking Guide to John Calvin’s Geneva; Following the Footsteps of the Great Reformer which has since been published. Besides church-planting and giving Reformation tours, John hosts a local weekly radio show and was the chaplain of the Geneva hockey team for 16 years.
